Help me disguise my roots for tonight

I have naturally mouses brown hair with lots of grey. I have ash blonde highlights to try and blend the grey through -I'm 2 weeks off getting my roots done but I'm out tonight and it's just dawned on me that there will be photos -lots of photos!

Will putting a toner on today make my roots less obvious?

I don't want to put a box dye on as my hairdresser will shout at me not really she's lovely-

I find brown dry shampoo the best at covering greys, spray it on, rub it in really well and brush out. It should then blend in with your colour, Batisse do a blonde/brown colour which would probably be good for you.

go to boots/superdrug/home bargains any supermarket and buy a root spray
