Slides or block heel mules and a chunky necklace.

I like the tie belt they style it with, but I’d gone down the necklace if I did that.

I quite like the belt that looks but was thinking £17 was a lot for a belt so have been trying to find cheaper alternatives, and not succeeding....

oh right, get it now. silver or gold jewellery ,tan or "stone" coloured accessories.

hermes H style leather sliders?

minimal design jewellery from whistles?

flutteryleaves · 01/08/2018 22:48

its a lovely modern dress.

Tan mules
Chunky cuff
Oversized natural coloured clutch.

£17 is not a lot for a leather belt. ASOS is good for cheap (plastic) belts or TKMaxx usually have a selection.

I've got a similar shaped COS dress in navy (and have been looking at this one recently, I love it) that I wear with a contrasting belt and navy brogues and tights. For this dress if I was tall then I'd wear a black belt and black flat sandals or slides. Since I'm short I'd be more likely to go for nudeish flats to make my legs look a bit longer. I think heels would look wrong with this dress.

The problem is the belt is online only, and a whopping £6 to deliver. Definitely offputting to spend an extra half the price on delivery

Oh yes, fair enough. Although you get free delivery and returns if you spent enough. TopShop is another place that has nice belts and deliver to a local store for free.

I wouldn’t bother with a belt, and would put a yellow chunky necklace and yellow shoes with it.
