Looking after wavy/curly hair

Hello all!

My daughter is 3 & has beautiful waves and ringlets towards bottom half of her hair.

In this humid weather it has gone very weighty and frizzy.

Is there anything I can do to help her look after it? At the moment we are doing shampoo & conditioner once a week and combing through (sometimes more if she has been swimming/splash pool/beach) but not sure if should be using something specific or adding in another step? We haven't been hairdrying as too hot.

Love to hear any hints or tips!

Thank you in advance!

I've been using coconut oil. I apply about 10 mins before shampooing . I helps mitigate the frizz. You can get a small pot to try in Superdrug
