Unperfumed hairspray recommendations please

I’ve used Boots unperfumed hairspray for literally decades – it’s great hairspray and it really doesn’t have any sort of smell whatsoever. And now it’s been discontinued ……

Can anyone recommend a High Street brand of unperfumed hairspray?

Or even something that may have a smell, just so long as it's not the "old lady hairspray" smell? I don't mind hair product smell, but hairspray smells so hideous!

Boots do one. I used to get a Sainsbury’s own one but, it’s a while back.

Thanks Aunty - I tried that over the weekend, it's definitely unperfumed but sadly it doesn't give much hold!

@Petal02 Did you find an unperfumed one? I'm on my last can of Boots, I've tried Elnett before but didn't like it and Superdrug do an unperfumed one but I've been to buy some from there today and there was none on the shelf. I asked when it'd be in stock so the assistant checked and said it's showing as being 'long term out of stock'.

I have the same issue as the smell of hairspray is rank and makes me smell
Like an old lady !!
Superdrug make one but it's hard to spot ..

That's the one I tried to buy today, which is showing on their system as being long term out of stock so if you can get your hands on any in your local Superdrug then do so. It's out of stock online too.

I can really only use unperfumed because of an allergy I've developed. I used to use Boots but then when they discontinued it, I switched to elusive Superdrug unperfumed. It's no longer possible to find it and even the staff in Superdrug don't understand what's going on. Out of frustration I once again moaned at Boots via Twitter and have been told that it's coming back! Should be back early next year, but not exactly sure when. Get the flags out.

Yay ! I hate the smell of perfume .. it's all I can smell on a night out if I use it !

L' Oreal Elnett do an unfragranced version.
Easy to brush out.
