Please help me find an edgy black dress

I need a black (or black and white) dress for a cocktail type event. I need sleeves to at least elbow length and dont suit skater/full skirt or high necked styles. I'd really like something a bit different, cost not the priority for the right thing. Help pls!

Any other suggestions appreciated though as 90% of my online orders are always returned!!

I don't think VW dates, but I wouldn't pay more than about £350 for one of hers, as I think the quality can be a bit hit and miss.

I'd go for this one personally, with a really good bra. My own VW dress has a draped scoop neck which is v flattering, but can't see similar on the site.

I have a similar Bravissimo one to the one linked, and it's been fantastic value cost per wear.

Thanks Remus, interesting re the Bravissimo. I should order to try I think, particularly given the price. I think the m&s might be too short for me (maybe for a holiday tho when I dont give so much of a shit about whether my legs look good!!)

I tried an Anglomania dress in TK Maxx before Christmas and the fit and drape were unbelievable. I would have bought it if I'd any use for a black dress.
