Are they really comfy? As in good enough for walking around Disney parks in Orlando for two weeks comfy?

I've never posted before but had to answer this one! I've just got some Saltwater sandals as I've wanted some for ages - they are amazing! So comfy I don't want to take them off... they would definitely be great for walking around all day and they look fab as well Smile

I've got the original style in silver

I walked around Monaco all day in mine .They are very comfy in that they don't rub. But they are not cushioned so they may not provided the comfort for being on your feet all day for 2 weeks.

Thanks both very much.

They're fine for a stroll around a national trust/shopping centre, but I wouldn't want to walk around in them every day for 2 weeks, especially with the miles you will put in at Disney. I would wear proper walking sandals for Disney.

On another thread about tan sandals someone posted about Yonoko sandals, they look more supportive and similar-ish in style.

Bugjune · 26/07/2018 19:40

Yeah, they don't rub at all but they are very flat and unsupportive so might not be the best for serious distances.

MrsMariaPolouvicka · 26/07/2018 21:35

No, no, no, definitely not ok for two weeks solid walking.

Wear trainers or tevas, anything with a cushion sole. Even Birkenstocks would be better than Saltwaters.

Disney Orlando is a fashion and style void, there is absolutely no need to worry about what you look like in any way. Comfort and fun are your top priorities!

I love mine. I don’t even know I’ve got them on but I can’t walk far so I can’t answer your question.

I’ve got tan ones I fancy another pair in a bright colour

buckeejit · 26/07/2018 21:41

I've been waiting for them in Tan in my size for yonks!

NuzzleandScratch · 26/07/2018 23:32

Definitely go for comfort at Disney, I wore what are usually a very comfortable pair of low heeled boots for a day round Disneyland Paris earlier this year, got in the car, drove to get the ferry home, I could barely walk when we got out the car on the ferry, my feet were so bruised under the arch!

dinodiva · 27/07/2018 06:20

I love mine and have worn them non stop this summer - I have saltwater sandal tan lines on my feet.

Sleepyslops · 27/07/2018 06:41

I love mine, but if I wear them for a walk that's more than a couple of miles my feet are sore. Not from the sandals themselves, but from the fact I haven't had any support for my feet.

I love mine and can easily do a full day walking around a UK city but I would always recommend trainers for Florida for the support. Something light that dries quickly like Nike Tanjuns, no leather! The Saltwaters would be good for evenings.
