Foundation or cover in the heat

Anyone have any tips for some kind of cover?
I am very pale /red and usually use Chanel foundations but it feels quite gluey in the heat.
I have tried Clinique cc cream but it really makes my eyes water and sting.
Ideally I’d like some cover with an spf
I like the idea of powders - had a Lancôme one recently but gave it away as didn’t really seem to make any difference to me. Anyone have a good experience of them. I always struggle with sun protection for my face as so far everything I’ve tried has really stung my eyes

I wouldn't recommend relying on foundations for SPF as you don't apply enough to get much benefit. You're better off applying an SPF underneath your foundation (I love The Body Shop Skin Defence one, it's SPF 50, PA ++++, and has a milky texture which isn't greasy at all). For foundation I like Too Faced Born This Way and The Ordinary's Coverage Foundation.
