Board shorts

Can anyone recommend some or a good place to shop for them?

Or are they a terrible idea? I just want something I can slip on over my swimming costume for paddling in sea (in UK) but don’t want normal shorts or skirts because they take a while to dry if I get splashed.

I’m slim, about 5’7 ish & very pale if that helps with recommendations! I’d prefer them not to be too short but also don’t want too long & baggy

Definitely decathlon they have loads

defeats the object if worn over a soggy swimsuit! get a top and a rash vest to keep the sun off. lose the knickers and lo and behold, quick dry, more sun protection and covers pubic hair too.

you will never want to wear a swimsuit again.
