This dress for a christening?

For my nieces christening. Is this too casual? I’d obviously not be wearing it with ankle boots. Is it actually nice, regardless of the shoes? Or is it a bit bland?

I think it would be slightly longer on me as I’m only 5ft 2

If it’s acceptable, what colour/style of shoes and bags would you suggest?

It is very pretty and would work well for a christening. When is the christening - maybe some sandals if it is soon?

This is a beautiful dress and is defiantly perfect for a christening. If it is soon with this weather wear with a flat or heeled sandal, if you don't want to go for black, a nude or light pink/peach would work really well

I think that’s lovely.

Gorgeous dress.

It’s in 5 weeks. I have a pair of black, wooden block heeled, wrap around sandals that would probably go. I can’t seem to post a photo of them for some reason

It's a lovely dress. Definitely go for it.
