I love a shirt dress, I have several including a lovely silk one from Boden. Buy it and try it on and see if you like it on you. We can't advise without seeing on.

It's arrived. I love it, even if I don't look like the model in it!

You're never going to look like the model, they are freakishly tall, at best at the bottom end of the healthy BMI range and then are photoshopped even further from anything that could be considered healthy or normal. I think sometimes the plus size or petite models give me a better indication of how clothes will look on a real body because they are closer to the normal range of sizes (and I say that as someone who is a healthy BMI).
