I've never bought from jigsaw - is it worth the money? What do they do well/badly?

Have bought a lot in Jigsaw in past, but rarely in recent years. Their - predominantly- loose styles don't suit me and they now use a lot of man-made fibres (which is not reflected in the price).
I would still rate their tailoring quite highly and I think Jigsaw is good for winter coats. Also some of their footwear/ boots. I recall in the past Alexandra Shulman recommending their coats/ trousers.

Yes very good quality esp shoes/bags

I quite like some of their autumn/winter stuff for work; they do some thick jersey dresses in nice prints every year. Their signature camisoles are also brilliant and come in a huge colour range.

I like Jigsaw. I have a pair of shoes, 2 bags, 2 dresses, a silk blouse and 2 light sweaters from them at the moment. Had a 3/4 length smart fine wool coat from them I wore for years and years (15?) before making myself retire it. Sizing generous in my experience. Sent back one dress this year as I felt it was a big ordinary for the price and I didn't like the fabric. I usually get a 20% off loyal customer code once a year and buy then.

They have a yellow silk blouse thing, and a flippy skirt that I like at the moment, but dithering. Not sure the skirt is worth it, think I might find a better one for less, and better fabric. I'd probably buy a lot more from Jigsaw if the fabric was nicer.

I used to like their suits but not so keen on last couple of seasons.

Another vote for very generous sizing. Although bizarrely not always, I tried on a breton in my usual Jigsaw size and had to size up! They do some lovely silk things, nice drapey dresses and silk batwing tops in different colours each season. I think they are overpriced though and only buy in the sale.

All my bags are from there, and I buy Breton tops every year - I only buy in the sales though, and at full price I would be looking for more “interesting” clothes.
