Looking for the blackest thickest cotton leggings

Yeah, Mint Velvet are excellent. Very thick, plenty of elasticity, lovely flattening waistband.

My only criticism of them is that I do think they fade sooner than I'd expect.

Next do or certainly did some thick leggings. Iirc they were called ponte leggings.

But ponte is not cotton is it?

Well I didn't think so but next ponte leggings feel and look like cotton but thicker....maybe I'm misremembering the name. But they do thin leggings then thicker ones for about £20 which I rate.

Next cropped ones are excellent. Buy your size for more opaque look rather than sizing down.

Mint velvet 100% better than Next, M&S, supermarket ones...
My previous favourites were top shop until I discovered the MV ones - honestly, best for thickness, fit and comfort!

Mint Velvet definitely. I am a podgy size 10 and find the M very comfortable. I could probably go for S but why suffer? They're a bit long on me but I'm only 5.2". They look fine either folded at the ankles or ruched.

H&M Heavy Leggings. Not even a hint of pants on display !

You could try buying proper gym ones as they are always thicker than 'clothes' ones.

I got some great thick ones from Gap: comfy, thick waistband, not faded yet after over a year.
