Recommendations from Korres

I’m currently obsessed with their body lotion and wondering if I’m missing out on any other miracle Korres products...does anyone have any recommendations? Their facial moisturisers look nice but a bit too pricey to just experiment with. Or has anyone tried their colognes and if so, how long-lasting are they?

I love their Wild Rose products - the facial oil, serum, day & night creams. M&S used to do buy one get one free on the Wild Rose stuff so I stocked up then. Bit pricey otherwise.

Laquila · 21/07/2018 20:57

Ooh thank you HelloDolly, I’ve been wedded to Neal’s Yard Rose Facial Oil for years but maybe I’ll investigate. I love anything rose - the Korres rose shower gel is lovely too.

Love their Fig shower gel.

Laquila · 21/07/2018 21:02

Aha!! I have it in my Amazon cart as we speak, Tidy! How moisturising is it? Have you tried the Santorini Vine or the Bergamot Pear?

Waitrose have lots of the shower gels on offer for £5.33 at the moment. I've just bought the fig one but I'm really not keen on the smell. The santorini one and the Japanese rose one smell amazing. They last ages (If I hide them from everyone else in my house) and don't dry out my v sensitive skin at all.

hammeringinmyhead · 21/07/2018 21:36

I was going to say Fig and Santorini Vine shower gel. My Sainsbury's has them a third off.

LoniceraJaponica · 21/07/2018 21:38

Another fan of the Wild Rose stuff. The sleeping facial was in the Advent calendar last year, and I love, love, love it.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/07/2018 21:40

The Santorini Vine shower gel is gorgeous. Lip balms good.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/07/2018 21:41

Fig shower gel.

Laquila · 21/07/2018 21:45

Oh hello Remus! I feel like I haven’t seen you around in a while but maybe that’s me not you 😂

I already have and LOVE the fig body milk so will try the Santorini Vine showergel (that autocorrected to showgirl...) - annoyingly my Sainsbury’s only has the body millks.

The hair spf leave-in spray is pretty good.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/07/2018 21:55

I'm always here, but pretty much only ever on the 50 books threads these days; occasionally S&B!

Waitrose do the shower gels, and they are currently on offer.

Laquila · 21/07/2018 21:56

Ah I saw that recommended on Into The Gloss, History. Have you tried their weird-sounding yoghurt facial SPF?

OP posts:
ThisIsHistory · 21/07/2018 22:11

The yoghurt stuff has never appealed to me, avoid dairy as it gives me spots.

I have used some of their tinted lip butters though. Rose (red), ponegranate(pink) and mango (coral) I think, in both pot and stick firms. I liked them. But the stick ones stung a bit And a gold eye pencil back when they used to have a shop in the Buchanan Galleries. That must be ten years ago.

It’s a shame they don’t really have shops anymore. There was a nice one in Madrid. It’s lovely to be able to browse a proper range of products.

Judydreamsofhorses · 21/07/2018 23:21

Love the shower gels - my favourite is the lavender one, but currently on fig, and have a lemon/basil in the cupboard waiting. M&S have a good range of products in the beauty bit here.

thefirstmrsdewinter · 22/07/2018 01:19

Pomegranate lip butter! I have about eight of them on the go at any given time (one in each coat pocket, one in makeup bag, one in handbag, one in car etc). They make great lip and cheek colour.

ShovingLeopard · 22/07/2018 01:26

Another lover of the fig shower gel here. Also mint tea, and the new Olive range is great too. Currently using the olive verbena shower gel and it's lovely.

Emerald123 · 22/07/2018 01:33

The Basil/Lemon shower gel is amazing in this hot weather and not drying. It was in Waitrose at 33% off.

LoniceraJaponica · 22/07/2018 08:19

Because of the issues with plastic and the number of threads on MN and other social media sites about swapping shower gel for bars of soap, I'm surprised that more companies like Korres aren't doing the same.

Given that Korres market themselves as a company with a natural approach. You would have thought that they would want to enhance their environmental credentials and develop more skin friendly mild soaps to replace the shower gels in plastic bottles.

(Jumps off soapbox)

FlaviaAlbia · 22/07/2018 08:24

LoniceraJaponica Jumps off soapbox
I see what you did there Grin

I get Korres milk soap and camomile soap bars in TK maxx and they're both mild and lovely.

LoniceraJaponica · 22/07/2018 08:26

I must pop in next time I'm near one then.
Didn't see my pun either D'oh! Blush

Biologifemini · 22/07/2018 08:29

The Matt spf 50 grape suncream.
It is perfect: non greasy and stable uva and uvb chemical filters.
Am amazed it is t more popular however I did buy it while on holiday.

LoniceraJaponica · 22/07/2018 08:32

I have never seen it in the shops Biologifemini. If it isn't widely available then people won't buy it.

keepmoving · 22/07/2018 08:35

Santorini and Guava shower gels as well as shampoo and conditioner perfect for my super sensitive scalp. Not cheap but currently stockpiling as on offer in Waitrose.

CiderwithBuda · 22/07/2018 08:53

I’m just back from Greece and bought the SPF 50 grape sun cream there. Really liked it. Bought some shower gel and soaps for gifts. And soaps for me as I’m a bit obsessed. There were some soaps at duty free and some in the pharmacy at the resort we were at but definitely more shower gels. Also bought a 3-in-1 facial wash. Think it was for the Olive range.
