Help! Oily, shiny skin

Please help me! I've been having issues with oily skin for a while now, and nothing is working. I've tried lots of primers (currently use an urban decay one under Estée Lauder double wear light), lots of other products but I'm still soooo shiny so quickly! I rely on blotting papers for a quick fix throughout the day and occasional powder touch ups, but can anyone recommend other products that really work for shiny skin?!

What's your skincare routine?

librarylover53 · 20/07/2018 18:58

Cleanse, tone and moisturise day and night with products suitable for combination skin types. Exfoliate once or twice a week. Occasional charcoal mask when I remember!

Just wanted I also use glycolic acid pad things a couple of times a week at night too. Think my oily spot-prone skin is largely hormonal as I've been having issues since birth of my youngest, 5 years ago. Never had oily skin before that, now can't keep shine away!

I have been using la roche possay effaclar duo moisturiser consistently for years. Any other moisturiser is just too heavy for my skin. I also use regular double wear, I find the light one goes shinier a lot quicker on me.

No idea why you'd put this in the sex topic, but stop using ANY skin so called products for a month. Then come back and tell us your problems have all been solved what further advice you need.

Oops, this is not in the sex topic. Crack on anyway :D

What's your diet like?

librarylover53 · 22/07/2018 08:05

Thanks @WeeM .

Diet is good - am vegetarian, plenty of fresh fruit and veg. Exercise plenty too. Do like coffee and alcohol, but in moderation! Could probably drink more water though...
