HELP! HD eyebrows disaster

Bottomofsmughill · 19/07/2018 19:42

Can any beauty gurus advise? Have had HD eyebrows done today and they're too dark! I've never had anything done to my brows as they're so sparse, just used brow powder on them till now.
The girl said not to get any products on them for 24 hours but can I lighten them if I use cleanser or something? I've got a big night out tomorrow and hate them 😩

They will fade. Wash them with Head and Shoulders..massage in and leave for as long as possible. Don't worry

TacoFlavouredKisses · 19/07/2018 19:45

There's a good chance that when you first wash your face they'll lighten up a good bit! Don't panic!

Pfft had a similar treatment myself and they looked completely back to before next day apart from hair removed obviously

Bottomofsmughill · 19/07/2018 19:52

Oh god I'm so relieved thank you! Shall I try washing them with shampoo now (only got Aussie miracle moist tho) / wiping with a micellar water or just wait till morning then scrub with Brillo pad and neat bleach ?

You probably think they're dark because you're not used to them. They're probably fine.

dogrilla · 19/07/2018 20:01

Hahaha - I did that before a holiday and looked like David Gest for a week. I found out afterwards that nail varnish remover can help. Good luck!

picklemepopcorn · 19/07/2018 20:02

Wait till morning, or better still evening.

Loopy9 · 19/07/2018 20:03

Oh no I was the same but day 2 they look better.. l looked like frida kahlo which wasn’t what I expected!
I am hoping day 3 will be even better. I think it is getting used to them.. mine look dark and bushier but the therapist who did them is very well regarded so it must be me!
Good luck!

OP wash them now Grin

Let us know how you get on..

callmeadoctor · 19/07/2018 20:08

I would gently use cleanser on them a few times tonight, that will certainly help (think I would avoid nail varnish remover personally!!! Shock They will definitely fade.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 19/07/2018 20:16

I'd only use tepid water on them tonight and hit the cleanser hard as close to the 24 hour mark as you can hold out to Grin They'll be fine!

Bottomofsmughill · 19/07/2018 20:17

Right, am going to use cleanser tonight then get up mega early and hope they're ok. If not I'll have to pile on the make up with a trowel

How are they this morning OP?

HippyChickMama · 20/07/2018 10:22

Assuming it's similar to hair dye, perming solution will fade it. Buy a cheap home perm kit and wipe the perming solution over them with cotton wool then wash it off. Works for hair dye on skin.

Bottomofsmughill · 21/07/2018 12:59

Update- I scrubbed them with warm water and a cotton wool pad on Thursday night and Friday morning and the David Gest look went! A couple of hairs came out but I felt better! Looked ok for work and night out and am happy now! Thanks to all of you who replied - I was panicking!!
