LVL lash lift yesterday, dry eyes today

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has any experience to share. I had an LVL lash lift yesterday, for the first time. I'd had the patch test, all fine.

The perming solution stung and my eyes were watery at the end of it, but felt fine once all of the stuff was washed off.

At bedtime my top kids felt a bit sore and scratchy inside. This morning they were a bit gunky. They don't hurt any more but they do feel quite dry, to the point where I am going to wear glasses to work for the first time ever because I think my lenses will irritate them further.

There is no swelling or redness. Does this sound within the parameters of normal? They look great, and I'd like to have it done again, but obviously don't want to damage my eyes!

Thanks.

Hi. I had a LVL treatment in May and also have not been able to wear my contact lenses since. Have been suffering with dry eyes since. How are your symptoms now?

I had LVL treatment a few weeks ago and didn't experience any of the symptoms you describe. Give the salon a call this morning.

I'd go and see an optician today if I were you. They can check properly how your eyes are.

How is it today op?
When I had it done my eyes felt a bit strange to begin with. I had a very high lift so the rim of the upper lid felt exposed.

I'm a contact lens wearer who has LVL done and I've had no problems at all so definitely get it checked out.
