Which watch?

If my style is kind of saltwater sandals, relaxed dungarees and jumpsuits in the summer and jean dungarees and stripes and chunky knits in the winter*, which watch might I like?

I've decided I'm totally over using my phone for the time, want to wear a watch for the first time in about 20 years and feel quite overwhelmed with the choice!

*not the only clothes I wear, fyi, just trying to sum up my kind of style in a nutshell.

Swatch?

Rolex is out of my price range... I'm looking at under £100! Swatch might be a goer.

I've just seen these vintage looking Casios:

What do you think of those?

I think they’re pretty cool....I’d never have thought of a vintage Casio and I think it sounds like a good choice for your style. And bargains too!

How about a Skagen watch? Lots under £100 and they are very minimal.

Rather coveting one myself actually.

Skagen ones look nice.

Think I've fallen for the Casio ones now, though... now I just need to choose (there are lots and they're all pretty awesome).

Thanks for your help. It's funny, I started this thread having no clue and just the act of discussing it with a couple of people has pointed me in the right direction. Love mumsnet.

I like Casio watches, I usually wear Baby-G.
