Weekend capsule wardrobe to Cornwall

I'm heading to Cornwall at the weekend for a mini break, first time and would love your thoughts on what to pack.

I've heard it can be cloudy one minute and sunny the next. Weather forecast is saying it should be sunny (fingers crossed!)

Beach / walking gear / exploring the villages : any idea what to pack with such changeable weather??

Please help!

Packable down jacket and packable waterproof or umbrella.

If it's this weekend or next, the forecast is set fair, with possible showers but downpours are unlikely so pack your shorts and shirts, a wetsuit for swimming, walking shoes/flip flops and something nice to wear for eating out in a lovely country pub. It would be sensible to have a thin hoodie and a pocket waterproof.

That's the first thing that went into the bag! Such unreliable weather!

Layers.

Vest tops, wafer-thin tee-shirts, cotton or linen shirts and tops, fine knit cardis or sweaters. Some cropped trousers and lightweight chinos, capris or linen trousers. A pretty dress for eating out at night.

Sporty shorts, cropped leggings and swimsuit for paddling, swimming, canoeing or bodyboarding.

I’m in Cornwall right now, and the weather has been pretty good, today is cloudy but warm, I would pack some shorts, t-shirts and a light jacket, jeans or trousers for the evening and a rainy coat in case
Depends where you stay, maybe a pretty dress for dinner, walks in the evening

Take the wetsuit, the water isn't warm! If you're swimming, surfing, canoeing or paddleboarding, even a shortie is a godsend!
