Fake tan/shaving legs

Member957064 · 18/07/2018 11:23

I want to sort out my ghostly white legs this summer! Fake tan is the only way as there's no chance of a sunny holiday!
Unfortunately I have to shave my legs every day if I want to bare them, so is there any chance of fake tan staying?! I can only wax once at the beginning of summer due to thick, black regrowth so that's not really a solution.
Any advice re technique, brands etc would be most welcome...

I shave daily then apply Palmer's gradual tan, smells of chocolate rather than wrt newspaper. I still have a light golden tan, or off-white at least!

I shave every other day and use Sally Hansen Airbrushed legs with a mitt. Takes 2 mins, doesn't streak, looks natural and lasts the two days.

I used to shave and the Sally Hansen wash off stuff was the only thing I could use. I needed to apply it daily.

I now use IPL and have been able to use a gradual tanner or a proper fake tan.

Hmm, would love to be able to shave every other day or afford IPL, but thanks for the suggestions Smile

Will check out Sally Hansen and Palmers...fingers crossed!

I use a mit from primark and use rimmel wash off fake tan. Have used it for years.

Brilliant, washes off easily, takes seconds to apply as it’s brown so you can see the actual colour straight away.

I get mine waxed then use an epilator when hairs start coming through (doesn’t hurt too much when you’re not doing a full leg of hair!). It doesn’t affect my fake tan and can keep on top on regrowth without having to shave every day
