Running shoes for Metatarsalgia and wide feet

I think I would run more if it wasn't for the Metatarsalgia. Can anyone recommend trainers please?

I'd second Brooks Adrenaline and New Balance 1260's are worth a look too.

Men's running shoes are wider than women's. I have the Brooks Ghost in men's wide (2e).

Try Altra shoes. They have a wide and deep forefoot and female fit so you get room for toes without having heels slipping around. They have transformed my running - no more sore feet and my knees are far better to. They run a bit small - but wide!
