I think uniqlo might be my new favourite shop but my nearest is 400 miles away 😂
What have you got that’s good?

I love the slightly cos look, trendy but in a muted way, I work in a scandi co-working space and uniqlo stuff fits the vibe. (I’m too short for actual scandi brands).

Brilliant stuff, and usually does exactly what it says on the pack. I'm a fan. I may have the Henley T shirt they used to make in just about every colour, including 4 x light grey marl. Sadly, discontinued. Seriously, the prices are reasonable enough that return costs are not daft.

I have the short-sleeved long stripey dresses in black & white and grey & white (the ones with inbuilt bra). They are brilliant. I also just bought this which looks a lot more expensive than it is.

Love their supima cotton t shirts, blocktech mac, ultra light down, the collaborations they do, heattech for winter. Always keep an eye out for their offers and stock up on basics.

DumbledoresApprentice · 18/07/2018 07:22

I have this skirt in more than one colour. The pockets are amazing! I also love their rayon shirts and their ankle-length trousers. I have a fair few pairs of those for work. I love how comfortable everything I buy from there is and how well it all washes.

Size up for uniqlo as they come up small because they're a Japanese brand. I'm a size 10 & have to order a medium and my size 12 sister needs a large or extra large depending on the cut of the garment.

EmpressJewel · 18/07/2018 07:58

Much of my wardrobe is from Uniqlo:
Tshirts - the life ones are lovely thick cotton
Long sleeved tops - lots of colours and necklines
Jeggings - which they will alter for free if you can get to a store
Maxi dresses.

TSSDNCOP · 18/07/2018 08:02

The linen drawstring shorts are fantastic at £14:90, I’ve got them in 3 colours.

I’ve also got the slash neck t shirts and jeggings.

Love their jackets and coats: mac last year 50 quid. Lovely long sleeved.

I’m a 16, and get the XL.

PurpleWithRed · 18/07/2018 08:08

Another fan here. I bought these blue satin trousers in blue and two of these marimekko t shirts on Monday in the sale, £25 the lot. Also have their ultra stretch skinny fit jeans, multiple extra fine merino jumpers, lightweight down coats and various bits and bobs. I don't like their airism stuff though, far too see through.

QueenoftheNights · 18/07/2018 08:13

I use Uniqlo for basics but I don't think 'design' is the strong selling point- more value for basics.

I have 2 down coats- the lightweight one which I wear almost daily in winter for dashing about in, and the thicker weight one which is my 'snow coat'.

I''ve one of the trench coats- short style for £75 ish which has a detachable lining.

Loads of cheap T shirts for around £9 which I wear in the house and for messing about but the colour range isn't great- I go for the grey.

Heattech tops- loads of them and wear under everything in winter.

Their cashmere is quite good too but colour range hasn't been great for a while.

I'm an 8-10 and usually buy the S.

fedup2017 · 18/07/2018 08:16

Most of my wardrobe is Uniqlo..... I tend to look in the sale and get some real bargains. In particular I love the Ines de la fressnage and lemaire stuff. I also got some bargain silk t shirts a few years ago that I wear loads. I like the fact that the fabrics tend to be nice and often they put in decent pockets.

Xiaoxiong · 18/07/2018 10:11

I live in their merino wool thin jumpers in the winter. Once you find your size they have them in about 20 colours. And somehow they're both warm in the winter but still cool in the spring.

myheartgoesout · 18/07/2018 13:23

Dh gets pretty much his whole casual work wardrobe from Uniqlo - their Blocktech coats are amazingly comfortable and they make several great designs. Ankle sports socks, t shirts, cashmere, merino, a few Christopher Lemaire. Pjs, bra vests, heat tech. I think I might be obsessed.

MikeUniformMike · 18/07/2018 13:32

Another fan. Their stuff is great. Washes well. My jeans from there tend to get baggy though but they are comfortable.

Anlaf · 18/07/2018 14:00

I love the ines de la fressange stuff, especially wrap dresses and work shirts, their pyjama/lounge trousers, their under-skirt-shorts-to-stop-chafing, their art/artist collaborations, the Airism stuff, particularly seamless under t shirt for white blouses...

It's all v good value.
