Can you remove eyelash extensions at home?

Had some eyelash extensions on about four weeks. Some have come out on their own and they are looking a bit patchy. Want them off but not got any childcare for 6month old and three year old so can’t go to the salon to get them soaked off either kids in tow
Any ways to do it yourself?!

Baby oil or eye makeup remover (not an oil free one). Just soak cotton pads in either and leave them over your eyes for 10 x

Thank you ... off to try it now!

Why not buy some of the remover online?

It depends on the glue that they used, but I used a cotton bud dipped in a tiny bit of acetone nail varnish remover and dabbed at the base of the extension and it came away. Keep your eye closed and don't use much and it won't get in your eye.
Then put some Vaseline or olive or castor oil over the lashes and any residue will come away and it will give them a treat.
This was probably not the way you should remove them

I’ve just tried the baby oil method.
It was very gentle and felt quite nice!
There still 4-5 on each eye that are being stubborn and won’t shift but at least it’s got rid of all the ones that were sitting sqew-wiff.
I’ll give it a few days then try again and see if they’ll come out

I attempted to do this when I has them done however I didn't want to do further damage to my eyelashes or risk pulling any natural ones out.

I just want back to the beauty salon and it only took a moment. I would always trust a professional!
