Favourite red lipstick?

What's everyone's favourite red lipstick?

I am buying my friends red lip stick for her wedding day.

I do own a fair few reds but all of my faves Mac ruby woo, Russian red, illamasqua and huda beauty aren't very glamorous looking I'd like a lovely looking lipstick like YSL or Charlotte tilbury.

In terms of colour, I've bought all her favourite lip colours as gifts and always buy her makeup bits so know what suits her colouring but need advice on different brands staying power etc

My favourite red is called bing. It's a smashbox one so might not be glamorous enough for you, but it's a fab colour, matte but not too drying and fairly good staying power. If you're after something glamorous how about a Chanel red? To be honest I don't really rate Charlotte Tilbury. To me they are style over substance. Basically a rimmel lipstick in posh packaging. Not that there's anything wrong with a rimmel lipstick, at the right price.

Ooh thank you, I've never had a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, so will steer clear as obviously need good staying power.

I did think Chanel, I have a couple (not red) and the packaging is nice and sleek and I wore a pink as a bridesmaid earlier in the year and it stayed on very well.

Guerlain Rouge G has really beautiful lipstick cases and your friend can buy a different one later if she wants because they all fit every lipstick in the new range.

Tom Ford lipsticks lovely and glamorous, and really special.

Fenty Beauty - Lip Stunna paint in 'Uncensored' - it's a liquid lipstick though but goes on really easily, really pigmented and doesn't budge all day and the colour is beautiful, rich red.

I wore the Charlotte Tilbury when I got married and loved the colour. It stayed put all day - a friend did my makeup and layered it with a light dusting of hot pink powder which did the trick. I keep meaning to ask her what it was...

Bellapierre 'Ruby' is my favourite but also sometimes wear Smashbox 'Get Fired'
