Hi

My DP and I have been invited to the baptism of a close friends baby in September, it’s to be held in a cathedral and struggling with what to wear.

I do have this dress which I bought a few months ago but don’t know whether it will be dressy enough for the event? I’m early 30’s would wear kitten heals with it (due to my disability I’d struggle to wear much higher!) it’s a dipped hem with the front just being knee height

To be honest I feel hopeless about fashion since becoming disabled and putting on some weight, I do like Skater dress style and had seen this dress which I like the style of however with the shoulder being bare on one side it probably isn’t appropriate

All help very gratefully received, probably have a budget of around £200 if required for a new dress

Thank you for getting this far!
