I'm a size 14 - bordering on 12 (hopefully) but quite busty. I'm 50+ so don't want to look like mutton. Just something supportive, flattering and probably in black or navy.... Don't wear it too often (usually brave a bikini on holiday) but something to go to swimming pool with kids...so don't want to spend a fortune either

Thank you oh wise ones!

The Bravissimo Amalfi gets good reviews:

I am 32GG and have just got the Byron Bay from Bravissimo. It's probably too colourful from what you've described but its a similar shape to the Amalfi. I have been very impressed with the support (without it looking too matronly).

I've just taken delivery of a STACK of swimmers from various places. I'm a different size to you, but the ones I'm keeping are from Boden (I've gone for the Amalfi - the colour I bought doesn't seem to still be there - it's bright blue with a fuschia pattern): www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/womens-swimwear/swimsuits/s0006/womens-amalfi-bandeau-swimsuit.

And from M&S: www.marksandspencer.com/secret-slimming-non-wired-plunge-swimsuit/p/p60165966?image=SD_02_T52_7517A_B0_X_EC_90&color=RED&prevPage=plp&pdpredirect

There are TONNES of options from M&S, I was most impressed.
