Bacne

I had the mirena coil fitted in March. Since then I’ve developed bacne and I think this heat is making it worse (I’m quite sweaty naturally).

I’ve always been a bit spotty- blessed with dry/oily acne prone skin, but my back is something else.

I’m getting married in September and wearing a dress with a keyhole back and no veil. What can I do to ease it befor then??? Is there no hope and shall I ask the MUA to try to conceal them?

Superdrug do a really effective back and chest spray with salicylic acid in for about £3.99 that works wonders. Clinique have a similar product that I used to use but this is just as good. Also, rinse your back with something mild like sanex after washing your hair in the shower as I find shampoo/ conditioner can be really irritating.

Freederm do a good body wash. I bought it for my daughter and it seemed to help, along with the Superdrug spray mentioned above.

Another tip is to ensure you rinse hair conditioner off your back at the end of the shower.
