Please help me with Spankx! Which ones do I need?

I'm going to a wedding, and need something to keep my massive stomach a little under control!

I'm a size 20 and hold my weight in my stomach. I look like I'm about 8 months pregnant!

I've never used them before. I've got two questions -

Which ones do I need? I'm wearing a maxi-dress and if the heat wave holds it could be hot, I guess. Are Spankx breathable or do you get hot in them?

Which of these would you get? From this page )

Also - those are £33/ £35. Is that a good price? Are there other ones that are just as good but cheaper?

FWIW I massively prefer the black, but as it's possible the black might - just might - be dark enough to be seen through my dress, I guess I have to get the pale one, don't I.

I always get the higher power panties which look like the second picture. They are really good.

Do you think Spankx are good value, or are we paying for the name?

M&S and Debenhams seem to have similar things for about £10 less.

I would tend to beige , the colour is more practical with different outfits.

I find M&S make you look barrel shaped if you are a certain body shape. Spanx don’t do this, not to me anyway. Never tried Debenhams.

And yes the beige. I prefer black also but it’s not practical.

Hopefully it will totally transform my 8-month-pregnant-looking massive belly to - well 6 months-pregnant-looking is probably all I can hope for! But less wobbly than it now is anyway.

Higher power with a wee gusset otherwise you will have bulgy bum bits . Well I do anyways
