Flattering clothes after weight loss

I have just reached my target weight after low carbing since Christmas. I am back in my favourite top shop jeans and I am so happy. My problem is that I live in a hot country and want to wear more dresses. I am an hourglass and I am too used to wearing baggier clothes that don’t show my figure. Looser clothes look a bit too matronly as I have a large bust, and I also want to show off my newly flattened stomach. Any ideas of what styles to go for?

I'd go for a retro style so dresses from get cutie or lindy bop, designed to go in at the waist. Congrats on your weight loss!

Add a contrasting belt to the looser styles as a short term fix. I find it difficult to decide what looks good at my new weight (wbich I've now been a year at!) because everything looks so much better.

In an hourglass and wouldn't be seen dead in Lindy bop .. it seems very costumy to me .
Just go for dresses with a waist . If your stomach is flat then maybe a bodycon type dress for evening .
Warehouse do some nice sun dresses that suit my shape .

I'd go with the Warehouse sun dresses too. Some gorgeous styles and colours at reasonable prices and they have sale on too.

Thanks all. Hendricksy I do prefer body con type dresses, but the ones that are asymmetric with ruching to flatter the wobbly bits, (like Vivienne Westwood or Mary Portas) I also like slouchy tops but again I have to be careful that they are fitted over the stomach to avoid just looking large all over. Does anyone have any idea where I can get these kind of dresses/tops without Vivienne Westwood prices!
