Perm!?

Has anyone had a perm since the 80’s!? I have terribly flat and thin hair and really need to do something.

I was just thinking about perms recently - surely they're due a come-back?!

Curious as to whether they can/can't perm hair into a loose beachy-wave style...

I had a perm in 2010 and bloody loved it - have wavy hair naturally and the perm just gave me nice loose curls. I agreee it's due a come back!

A lot of the boys in my school have them. Shaved at the back and sides and permed on top. They look bloody ridiculous!

I have poker straight hair and doesn't hold a curl after styling so I got a perm to try to give it volume and it fell out after 5-6 weeks rather than the 6 months it was suppose to last.

I stick to mousse and voluming powder to get the volume now

Did it give your hair volume while it was in? Did it damage your hair?
