Maternity wear for the pear shaped!

I’m usually a pear shape (narrow shoulders/biggish chest/small waist/enormous bum/thighs). Now 17 weeks pregnant and in need of some clothes! Due to my body shape I never buy online and and now find myself unable to try anything on. Gained some weight before pregnancy and am probably a 14/16 depending on brand.

I basically will need some smart work outfits (public facing healthcare professional) and some weekend casual. I’m thinking trousers might be impossible? Any particular brands good for this shape? Planning just to buy a few things now and re-evaluate when bump is bigger.

All maternity wear is so stretchy. I am a pear too and I actually found it easier buying maternity wear as I didn’t have the small waist big hips problem anymore.
For work I relied heavily on dresses from Isabella Oliver, Séraphine and JoJo Maman. My top tip would be to check out eBay as there’s all ways loads for sale much cheaper.

Stretchy around my thighs would not be a good look! Thanks, I think dresses would be the best option, will look where you’ve suggested.

I am very pear and loved being pg as I felt less bottom heavy! It was a while ago, but I wore dresses and loose-ish trousers ( not together). Deffo check out EBay, no point spending loads on very short term clothes.
