Grown-up festival glitter

Is it possible?

Going to a festival this summer at the grand age of 26 and would love to invite along the repressed 6 year old girly-girl I've been hiding all these years, and smother myself in glitter

Could it be used on top of eyeshadow, highlighter etc? Or do I need to go full on war paint style? I have quite a round face and wouldn't look anything like the women on pinterest

Or is there no such thing as 'grown-up glitter' and I should stick to just SPF tinted moisturiser and act my age Grin

Honestly, i would just go wild and have all the glitter i wanted! Festivals are a different world while you're there so I just wouldn't hold back, you'll have a much better time if you aren't spending the whole time worrying about 'acting your age' let the glitter run free!!!!

Blimey you're only 26! I'd say that is the prime age for festival over the top glitter. What about some gems though, less messy than glitter and you could do a sort of tiara type design on your forehead to unleash your innermost princess fairly pixie!

I went to a carnival a couple of weeks ago, loads of people were wearing glitter, from children to adult of all ages, men and women.

Just do it

Lordy you’re young! Glitter it up baby!

I have a round face too, but there's lots of ways to use glitter. Here's two examples, one understated (for glitter Grin) and one not.

Get some of those face gems as well, I think you can get them in Primark and places like that.

Actually I think you can get ones for your arse now as well. Go the whole hog!

Saisong · 12/07/2018 16:18

Pretty as it is, it is appalingly bad for the environment.

OddBoots · 12/07/2018 16:20

Go for it!! - if you can then try to go for the biodegradable plastic-free stuff, there are a few places that sell it.

Theweasleytwins · 12/07/2018 16:39

Primark do stick on sets

KirstenRaymonde · 12/07/2018 16:41

You’re 26! That’s not even slightly old. And festivals are not for being grown up, get yourself some gems! Eyelash glue is good for sticking things to your face.

atomicnotsoblonde · 13/07/2018 17:22

What you need to do is not get hammered, forget you're wearing it and go to bed wit a face full of it

3 week's later!!!
