Korean Face Products Help!

UtahGirl12 · 11/07/2018 21:29

Hi, I've been reading through some old threads on this, (Korean skin care) and became intrigued. I'd love some advice but I think some of the threads are old, so have posted here instead. Hope I haven't missed any newer ones.

Basically, I now double cleanse and love it, but need some advice in what order to use things next. I tend to use the following in this order....
Niacinamide
Argeline
Habdo Labda
Rose hip Oil
Sunscreen (LRP) in the daytime.

My Mizen snail cream arrived today too, but I have no idea when to apply this, after the rose hip oil or before?

I'm 50 and my face is combination. I have suffered from cystic acne and rosacea although these have eased since using LRP.

Any help welcome, or any advice of what next to order!

I'm watching this thread and hopefully someone will come along with advice. I've read all the threads too but I'm so confused with what to apply and when.

Make the hada labo the first thing in your routine if it's the hyaluronic acid toner.

The snail cream is good for extra moisturisation. I'd only use the rosehip oil in the evening and the snail cream in the morning.

The general “rule” is to apply in order of consistency, so thinnest, most watery product first (the Hada labo) layering up to the thickest (your moisturiser).
I would second the user that said to try the rose hip oil at night and the moisturiser during the day but it will depend how dry you are.

Honestly though, with no pH dependent actives in your routine there are no hard and fast rules, and no harm in doing a little experimenting with the order. I don’t actually stick to the thin to thick rule, I apply vitamin c serum before Hada labo because it sits better that way for me, but it’s a good guide to start with.

The last thing before makeup should be sunscreen during the day, after everything else has sunk in.

can i use hada labo if I'm using retin A

HeyMacWey · 11/07/2018 22:15

Yes, wait half an hour after you've applied the retin a.

Thanks girls. Do any of you apply something like the Hada Labdo more than once like the 7 skins way of applying skin products?

Any suggestions of other good items to try?
