Flattering Swimsuit

I'm looking for a flattering one piece swimsuit but everything out there is sporty and flattens by D cups! Can anyone recommend something that won't make me look hideous? I'm a size 16 with a tummy and boobs. If it had a halterneck for easy feeding of DS that would be ideal

Boden Maratea is superb. I liked it so much I bought it in both colours! m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/clearance/womens-swimwear/swimsuits/s0025/womens-maratea-swimsuit

Yeah Boden are lovely and same with For Luna. Got this one after recommendation from someone here www.forluna.co.uk/collections/ladies-one-piece-retro-swimsuits/products/the-jewel-emerald-green-retro-swimsuit

Miraclesuit's are great for bigger boobs and good support. But they are expensive.

Shellthebelle · 11/07/2018 16:41

Thanks, the Boden one is sold out -I've probably left things a bit late! Will try For Luna, never heard of them before but that's lush!

If you are after something a bit cheaper, the Asda ones are pretty good

Shellthebelle · 12/07/2018 10:21

I've ordered that For Luna one and also a different one from Boden. Fingers crossed!

The low leg on the ForLuna one would make my legs look dumpy. There's a lot of fabric on the bum too, which would look like a sea of fabric on my bum. I can't wear halter as they give me migraines. Presumably this might suit a longer legged person with lighter norks?

ArfArfBarf · 12/07/2018 16:33

I have the Boden halter neck with contrasting side bits (can’t remember what it’s called but it’s very flattering and my body shape is essentially a booby barrel at the moment.

Shellthebelle · 12/07/2018 16:50

Hmm, I don't have long legs and I have an ample behind and norks so maybe it won't work like I think...it arrives tomorrow so I'll let you know!

You might be alright Shell, I have a For Luna and am very short in the leg department (with sturdy thighs too) and long in the body with 34DD boobs. And it really makes me look good, emphasises a feminine shape I spose. I often tie the halter straps the other way at the back to make it strapless, stays up nicely still and stops the strain on the neck.

Hunter007 · 12/07/2018 19:35

Yeah I get suits from For Luna too and I certainly don't have long legs. They are very flattering on Imo, esp on the larger lady :)

wowsaidtheowl · 12/07/2018 20:45

I just got a seaspray suit and it’s amazing! Designed for hourglass figures and fits better than any I’ve ever had. I love it!

Boopear · 12/07/2018 20:53

I am rather large of nork #understatement www.figleaves.com/uk/figleaves-tuscany-spot-underwired-tummy-control-swimsuit/ - I loves to..

Boopear · 12/07/2018 20:54

and have this one love it Grin

dontcallmelen · 12/07/2018 20:58

I just got a really lovely lands end cossie with halter neck, from Debenhams in the sale beautiful fabric & colour, was 45.00 instead of 90.00.

Shellthebelle · 13/07/2018 15:45

Thanks for the advise ladies - they both arrived this morning. I LOVE the For Luna one. The boden one not so much so I'm sending it back. Think I'll get a second patterned one from For Luna instead because it's so flattering :) :)
