Skinny fit work trousers

Hey,

Needing recommendations on skinny fit work trousers.

My current favourites are jcrew’s pixie pants but they no longer sell that exact style. The replacement ‘any day’ legging shrink in length in the wash so much that even the longer length are useless.

I’ve tried some by banana republic (devon) and mint velvet but wasn’t a fan of the fabrics.

Gap do a skinny fit trouser. Personally don't like it for work as it fits like a skinny jean. Better online than in store.

Mango and Zara both have side zip, skinny fit ankle length trouser. Again personally don't like the fit for work (and fabric is cheap - but so are the trousers) but if its a genuine skinny fit your after.

I do like the gap ones. I have horribly stick like legs so they arent too tight on me. They keep their shape between washes, dont sag and wash well.

That should say navy and black!! They are comfortable and have had comments on them.

The Gap bi-stretch are the best trousers ever

KirstenRaymonde · 12/07/2018 12:44

Should add I have very curvy legs and bum and they fit perfectly the whole way down, a brand new experience to me!

Seconding Gap bi-stretch. Banana Republic Sloan are also very good.

I was going to say Next have loads!!

I'm the opposite, been looking for bootcut work trousers. Skinny ones just look scruffy on me!

lurkingfromhome · 13/07/2018 07:53

Arket. I bought an amazing navy pair - such good quality, barely need ironed, look good with everything, don't go saggy and don't crease while I'm wearing them.

Came on to say J Crew are had to beat for that style. I have a few pairs for work but they will be needing replaced shortly. Sorry no help but watching with interest. I don't recommend the M&S trousers that were mentioned on MN. I bought a couple of pairs and the fit is not good if your body shape is more suited to the skinny style.
