Wedding outfit HELP!!!!

Going to a wedding end of july, its in a church followed by an afternoon reception then an evening do. which in itself is raising questions - do i need more than one outfit!?! (i don't go to many weddings obviously!)

so any ideas on a dress? I'm 5'9, long red hair, blue eyes and a size 20. i have an hourglass figure, boobs are a D/DD (unless doing bra intervention thingy which was a terrifying EE.) I love a vintage feel and can also make dresses so any ideas for patterns too are welcome!

I've never known anyone to change outfit other than bride, sometimes bridesmaids. The only outfit rule you'll need to bear in mind is cover bare shoulders in church, and don't wear white/cream in deference to the bride. I've often worn Vivien of Holloway dresses to weddings with bolero or jacket during day for modesty! Colectif also nice for vintagey dresses!
My only other tip is sensible shoes, or a spare pair for evening - I love to dance and a whole day in heels is killer!!!!

Quite a few changed before evening at our wedding but vast majority travelled and were staying at venue. I wouldn't bother if I wasn't staying over.
