Im recovering well from my hysterectomy its been five weeks. I dont know if im of the menopause or not because of the weather. Anyway ive lost weight so thats good I needed to. Im obbsessed with my eyebrows though they are proper dissappearing im looking at microblading anyone had it? The beauty editors are recommending someone down harley streer but shes £600. Do you get what you pay for?

Im 50. I need abit of botox. My dentist said she will do it. Again is a dentist the best person for it or should i go to a clinic? Im not sure if she does it it the dentists chair or not!

I was very concerned about having my eyebrows done, until they became so sparse that they were almost invisible. The first time, I had Karen herself, thereafter, for top ups one of the people she has trained. There may be people who do it cheaper, but would you want to risk it?

I had a price for the treatment , consultation, treatment and top up within three months st the time, explained when I called and confirmed in the paperwork when I booked. It wasn't that important to me, I was much more afraid of a botched job and now have no recollection.

The thing I liked about them, apart from being famous in the industry was that part of the consultation involved having the proposed brows drawn on in wax pencil so I could see exactly how they would look. Lots of time was taken over this part, we went through lots of iterations til all happy and only then did the 'permanent' part start.

So much scope for going wrong , price felt to me a much less important element.

I will be following up on Karen Betts. I am fed up of my patchy eyebrows.

For Botox I would highly recommend the Dr Leah clinic in Moorgate. Dr Leah is very good, but more expensive than her colleague Dr Emily who is also excellent. I have it around my eyes to lift my eyelids and make me look more awake and it costs £210.
