Blast this incessant heat. Can’t wait until it cools down -I bloody hate dressing for summer.

So can others of a similar mind share their lusted after stuff for when it is all about jumpers and boots?

Has anyone seen any rich tan mid calf boots that are leather but without a cleated, heavy sole? I can’t seem to find what I want. I am thinking a bit Belstaff-y, not heeled and something that will age well. Something like Toast used to do well. I don’t like heels

Visually I like these men’s boots and these.......budget up to £200.

Nope. I love Autumn dressing and September/ October shopping! 🍁🍂😀 But I haven’t seen any boots yet.

Me too! I love Autumn. I love the clothes and the colours. I'm really struggling in this heat, and looking smart is a nightmare. I'm going to a wedding soon which is mostly outside and I've no idea what to wear!! Loving those boots .

These are my cashmere bargains... I have also been buying silk squares because in my head that’s a bit ‘Toast’ -in autumnal shades.

What I want is some cool boots and a slouchy chestnut leather bag. If you see anything I would love some pointers 🙂

The jacket could be a bit ‘Clive from accounts’ but I took a chance as I thought it might look more ....

jeggings proper thick leggings (like the needlecord ones not see through) long sleeved lightweight tops (hot flusher here) jumpers

last winter I did wear thick coats , 'twas lovely
and wondering if my M&S lace-ups will last another winter, good excuse to buy more

the hope that paisley and brocade will be in, looks like leopard prints are in

70 have you tried Next jersey denim jeggings? The black ones are to be avoided though as they are a different material and feel like compression bandages.

The comfort though of the others....

I've just started on shopping for the girls, I have seen lots of leopard print and cord in Mini Boden! Next seems to be pushing a lot of swan prints for the children this season.
I have actually just bought a pair of dark red cowboy boots for the autumn, and some cord dungarees. I am eyeing some delicious grey leopard print brogues and want to find some nice merino knits and some cropped cardigans. It won't cool down here till October though so I am definitely being a bit premature!

A COmpany called Madeleine -which I think is German.

The jacket arrived today and I am pleased with it. It had shoulder pads which got promptly removed but the cut is just what I wanted and the condition is excellent. It doesn’t look great done up to be fair but I bought it to be worn open and it isn’t too bulky so works.It is nice and lightweight so will be good for layering.
