I just turned 40 and all of a sudden my makeup isn't working as hard to make me look better as it used to. Is this just ageing? Has anyone else experienced this?

You are still very young so I doubt it's ageing. Could be just a rut. Are these old products? they might be past their expiry date. Also it's super hot summer so you might have a slight tan and color is not matching perfectly, or sweat and your makeup isn't staying put.
