Looking at getting the classic Bayswater for Christmas time. Do they have a sale on before or after Xmas? I want the Oak Brown one. Xx

They do have a sale that generally starts on Christmas Day. It’s very rare that classic styles or colours like the Bayswater in Oak will be discounted. May be worth checking small local boutiques January sales.

Sale on right now

Any long haul flights planned? The classic styles and colours like the Bayswater in Oak aren’t usually part of the sale but buying VAT free at the airport gives you a good saving, would need to be a flight out of the EU though.

Have you considered buying a pre- loved bag from a respected re-seller ? I can recommend a Mulberry expert who is the best one in the business .

I've 5 M bags.

3 were bought as presents but the others i bought duty free at Heathrow.

I did keep an eye on the sales but the reductions always seemed to be (unsurprisingly) on the far more seasonal colours/styles rather than the classic bags.

So getting a Bayswater in bright green (or other on trend colour) in the sales - easy. Getting black, tan, brown, navy etc - rare as hens teeth with any significant reduction.

However in duty free there was a fantastic range and better pricing than most of the sales.

Btw I have the brown Bayswater - it was my first one. It's 10 years old now and still looks fab, despite being used a lot (ie.not just an occasion bag). It was my work handbag for years and stuffed with laptops, notepads - you name it.

The brass work is no longer pristine but I could have that replaced if I cared (I don't). The leather/stitching etc is all still first class :-)

Out of all the bags it's been the most versatile and if I could only have one it would be that.

Sales are on right now, and the classic Bayswaters (not the new Johnny Coca versions) are on sale, and as user1484920171 said, the Christmas sales usually start on Christmas Day.

Alternatively, you may be able to find them in the outlets. If you're not too bothered about the colour, then you may be able to find them a bit cheaper than the current sale prices, but I've found that the outlet prices are roughly the same as Mulberry's normal sale prices.

They do have summer sales. There should be one around this time of the year. If you sign up to their newsletter they will notify you.

I’ve seen classic colour Bayswater’s at the Bicester outlet. Occasionally it’s been an outlet special, so maybe no ‘feet’ on the bottom or lining not suede....but same bag iyswim. I saw an oak croc bays there not that long ago, also a lovely dark grey one. From memory the classic bays are about 695 pounds at outlet.

@SpeckledyHen could you please give me the details? Brand new ones are too expensive for me.
