shorts for larger people

I would really like to buy some shorts for my holidays as they are obviously practical for walking around in day. What type would be the least awful as I am aware shorts don't look that great on those of us who are overweight. I am a size 20 if that helps.

To be honest, I don't think shirts look good on most people.

Why not go for short skirts instead? They're much more flattering and cooler too.

I’m convinced that most people suit either shorts or skirts but rarely both.

I’m a shorts girl but have to make sure that they hit at the slimmest point of my leg - which weirdly for me is mid thigh.

A good tip is to buy a size bigger and belt them, with a tshirt loosely tucked in, which makes your legs overall look slimmer.

I’ve heard the Boden shorts recommended on here before. They come in different lengths I think.
