Maxi skirts for the short people

BitchyInnerMonologue · 07/07/2018 08:40

I'm 5ft2 and a size 14 with huge thighs.

Have bought long knickers (chub rub) are decided that long skirts (hideous legs) are the way to go to keep cool.

Anyone seen any nice long skirts for short people?

Monsoon do a short maxi dress/skirt range

Oh, I usually like their stuff but the one near me closed so never thought about there. Thanks!

I'm 5ft1 and last year I bought a regular maxi dress from monsoon which bizarrely is perfect!

Maybe go for midi skirts? I've got short stumpy legs so midi skirts are always more like maxi skirts on me 😂

Also, for chub rub, I bought Nivea Pearl roll on deodorant.... GAME CHANGER

I wore a dress, in London, in this heat, walked around all day and literally didn't need to reapply it once! Shorts are a good option too but I find they make me super sweaty!

I would buy midi and they are ankle length on me 🤗

Same height as you, I have to shorten dresses I buy.

Midi are, strangely, the wrong length for me. They end mid calf and just look very wrong. Maxi, I can shorten if needed, although I'd prefer not to if I don't have to do it.
