Lush liquid eyeliner 👍🏼

As more and more of my favorite brands resume animal testing, I am finding it hard to replace some of my staples.

Anyhow I was in Lush today with DD buying bath bombs and I saw a liquid eyeliner. I bought it not hoping for much, but it’s amazing! The brush is very thin, meaning you can get right in between the lashes and I was able to do a nice clean flick on both eyes.

I know we have our issues with Lush from time to time on here, but kudos to them for bringing out a really amazing product.

Fantastic! i will go and try it, I really like lush makeup and usually use Barry M liner every day.

It's disgusting they're resuming animal testing - is it so they can sell in China?

DD says Urban Decay are cruelty free - is she right?

TheMythicalChicken · 07/07/2018 08:56

Yes, it’s so they can sell to China. Urban Decay was bought by L’Oreal who are not cruelty-free.

Oh no! DD (13) abandoned Mac, Bobbi Brown and Nars for Urban Decay because she thought they were cruelty free.

I'll never forget Anita Roddick selling Body Shop to L'Oreal.

Not going out
I could be wrong but I think TBS have been sold again to Naturo

NotgoingoutNotstayingin, I felt really bad for your DD so I did some research at the weekend on cruelty-free brands. and what really surprised me was that Chantecaille is cruelty-free. I went to Mecca Cosmetica yesterday and bought a couple of bits and I can confirm that the quality is still as good as it's always been. And they give quite a lot of money to charity. And some of their products have wolves and lions on them, which I think is really cool.

I don't know how old your DD is and I'm not sure that Chantecaille would be considered a 'young' brand, but might be worth a look.

Thank you, Mythical Chicken, that's very kind. She's 13 and adores make-up - I'll pass on your recommendation.

Sorry - forgot I'd name changed 😀
