Hi. I've bought a couple of midi length, with side splits, dresses from Tesco. I am an 8-10 And they looked generous so bought an 8. They look fine from the front and are not clingy. However, the back is where I have the issue as both bra straps and even the full band (fastening bit) of the back of my bra can be seen as the straps on the dresses are so bloomin far apart iyswim. Do I just wear a coloured bra and just embrace it or give up on wearing them? Am not a fan of bras showing generally....maybe a bit of coloured strap but not the whole band at the back. Shame as the dresses fit me everywhere else so a smaller size would be too clingy...opinions?

Could you wear a bandeau top (I think that’s what they’re called, like a boob tube?) underneath? I can’t stand bra back strap being on show, looks trashy. But maybe a coloured bandeau would look nice?

That could work, thanks...Yep, agree with you about trashy, that's exactly what I think about the whole back of it on show!

Or I guess I could wear a vest under it but then that's probably too many layers when the whole idea was to keep cool.
