Hi,

I'm looking for a good optician in nw London who don't have the big brands, maybe brand free styles and can give me good opinions! I can't travel too far with my kids but wanted to try somewhere maybe independent rather than specsavers etc

Try Black Eyewear on Goodge Street. Lovely range of jazz influenced frames.

I've just got glasses from Cubbitts in Soho though they have branches in Kings Cross as do Bailey Nelson who are also v. good. My prescription is pretty simple and paid £125. That includes small screwdriver. Really great service and excellent quality.

Not NW but A View Opticians in Crouch End are amazing, if you are looking for a new style the woman in there is amazing.

thanks @mrsmarigold, that works a bit better for me location wise.

@Eesha how did it go?

Hi, I went here www.stewartduncan.com in East Finchley. Brilliant selection of cool frames at really reasonable prices, much better than the chains I went to before. I found a perfect pair for just £55. Really nice people too.
