Dress help please ladies

Hoping some of you very stylish ladies can help.

I need a dress for dinner during a spa weekend. It's at a lovely manor hall style spa hotel.

I'm feeling at my worst at the moment as have recently had a baby and have gained weight.

I'm 5ft 1 and a pear, alright boobs and small waist but gigantic hips and thighs. I'm a size 12.

I'm hoping for advice on shapes and style etc, for someone my size. I live in skinny jeans and a hush/whistles tee and vary rarely dress up and tend do wear black skinny jeans, shoe boots and a new top from Zara whenever I do go out in the evening.

I'll likely be ebaying for actual dress as I like more expensive high street- whistles, Reiss, Mint Velvet but have a more limited budget as on maternity leave.

My upper arms need to be covered, and length on or below knee.

I don't usually do prints or bright colours- I like dark colours and neutrals and smudgy prints (mint velvet/all saints)

Probably giving a very difficult quest. Oh and I'm 31.

I really would appreciate any help.

I'd go for something fitted at the waist then floatier. These two are nice but I'd probable go for a lower neckline personally

I saw that blue Reiss one when having a look, it's gorgeous, but I couldn't wear such a pale colour while this fat. I also think a lower neckline would help balance me out a bit.
