Curly mop like hair! Please recommend straighteners!

My much loved and well used straighteners have finally given up on me. I bought them in 2012 from my hairdresser but the brand seems to no longer exist so I cant get a replacement pair.
Ive been looking at ghds but i keep hearing that there not made the same as they used to be. Im wary of cloud nines because I dont know anyone who owns a pair and think there a lot of money if they turn out to be rubbish. Also my hair is a nightmare. Bra strap lengthish. Curly but with a horrible layer of frizz that prevents me from being able to wear it curly without looking like a toilet brush. Its prone to dryness so i need straighteners that can hold the style until the next wash. Does anyone have any recommendations? Particularly if your hair sounds similar to mine. I cant take another day of looking like a brillo pad!

I have T3 which are pretty good and a straightening brush I got for half price in the sales from Glamoriser which is really good and easier to use, temperature goes up to 220

Cloud nine are the best straighteners I've had. My hair is thick and curly with frizz. I've also heard good things about babyliss pod or something like that. I've got GHDs currently because I thought I'd try them after my cloud nines broke, they are good but not as good as cloud nine. Go on look fantastic website, always cheapest.
