Explain to me high lift tint versus bleach please!

I have naturally mid brown hair with about 10% grey. It’s highlighted ashy blonde (very fine looks quite natural with Aveda version of bleach). I have about 3 inches of regrow this and I’ve used clove (brown toner) Aveda conditioner. Which does wash out. Today I bought some Bleach London high lift tint and was thinking of using this on my ends when the clove has faded. Or should I grow out all my colour before using it? I’m quite happy to grow it out as I want it longer and in good condition. But my question is - is high lift tint better than bleach?

They're essentially the same thing. High lift tint tones alongside lightening but I don't find they lift as well as bleach so always come up on the brassy side on darker hair. I'd only use them on dark blonde hair, tbh.

Bleach lifts cleaner on darker hair but then you'd need to tone out any yellow left behind.

Lightening hair is difficult to get right. I really would go to a professional.
