First Interview on 10 yrs - help!

As the subject line says, I've got my 1st interview in 10 years coming up fairly soon. It's for an admin post, ideally I'd like to spend zero ££ & use what I've already got.

I've been a sahm for a few years and all my old work clothes have been given away. Plus my body shape has changed so I'm a curvy 10 as opposed to a straight up and down 8.

I've got a long black ankle length jersey from Boden. It's double lined and hangs beautifully, I could wear a white or grey jacket with it. A black jacket would make it look like funeral attire.

I've got one pair of smart black trousers and a nice ivory top. Will I need a jacket in this heat? What type of shoes? I don't have smart shoes but could pick up a pair of cheap ballet flats from primark.

TIA

Either sounds great for an admin role. Perhaps a smart pair of heels rather than ballet flats? M&S have a good range of office style shoes for about £20 if you don’t have any already? I’d say you don’t need a jacket if the dress or top is smart. Good luck!

Thanks LeggyMeggy great name by the way!

I'll have a trying on session tomorrow and see how it all looks together before I go shopping. I've got a very smart black belted cotton cardigan/jacket which would be too warm for this weather.
