Highlights too white advice

I’ve had my light brown hair highlighted and the highlights have come out white . Is ther syringe

I have had my light brown hair highlighted and the highlights are too white. Does anyone know if I can change the whiteness of them to a more natural blonde? Thanks

you are lucky, mine always come out blonde, when i ask for light ash, i would like them to be a bit lighter, had them done today, sorry i'm no help, just wanted to make a point.

I'm the same as Lindy sorry OP, I know that's not very helpful. Mine always come out yellow/orange and I have to use purple shampoo and toner.

Ask a salon to put a toner over it - the purple shampoos help remove the orangey brassy tones that will help make hair look whiter (which you won't want!)

Colour infusing shampoos are good for this if you just want to warm up the gold of the highlights. I’ve also had success with shade shots in gold by josh wood (I think that’s the name!). I had to use this after my last highlight appointment when I asked for golden blonde but was given white highlights grrrrr!!!

I had a new hairdresses do it today, and its ok better than the hairdresses i had before, as i had to use purple shampoo straight away, this time its a better colour, i ask for it to be ashy but not to many, so no purple shampoo needed as yet, i only got half of head done today as i like some of my own colour which is mousey brown to show underneath. i would like a few white ones mixed in but not sure how it can be done. i would say its nice blonde a bit like Jen of friends, when she had shoulder lenght hair with light blonde colour.
