Cleaning leather leggings

Sorry for the mention of leather leggings in this heat but I have a fabulous pair from Baujen which I got last Christmas. I've worn and worn them and any marks I can just wipe off, however they are slightly baggy at the knees and I'd like to give them a proper clean to start the new season.

I've read about people putting them in water and then in the tumble drier but I'm too scared to try that unless I hear it really works with this brand. I found a dry cleaners but it costs £60 and they send them to Germany, the other option is to just send them to regular dry cleaning (they said they will check them carefully but can't guarantee anything) which I'm also to scared to do.

I was hoping a proper clean might tighten up the knees a bit and spruce them up.

How to you clean yours??

I would be cautious of a dry cleaner saying they will do them in their normal machine . I presume at your risk ? What does the label say ? ( I presume it says specialist dry clean) the leather cleaners will have special oils in their solvent to keep them soft . It's not an exact science though as each cow is different and their skin can react differently .
I always advised people to wear leather to death and then re buy rather than throw money at cleaning which is never particularly successful .
